Paperface Zine & Rockin' Rochester Productions Presents: Wreckless Eric / Jazz Goons

The legendary Wreckless Eric returns to Rochester for a show at Lux Lounge with sleazy garage rockers Jazz Goons.

We have the pleasure of collaborating with Rockin' Rochester Productions in bringing over antique raconteur and scrappy rock 'n' roller Eric Goulden, better known as Wreckless Eric, for an intimate, raw solo show at Lux on October 21st,

While Goulden will crank up the reverb on his acoustic guitar, he will encapsulate audiences with his knack of melodic pop hooks and sardonic songwriting that is the center to his ragged garage and unapologetically outsider tunes.

Goulden first exploded onto the London music scene in the late seventies as part of Stiff Records’ highly eccentric roster that included fellow legends like Ian Dury, Nick Lowe, and Elvis Costello. While he never made it as a big as his peers, eventually leaving the music business for a short while, he became a renowned cult figure and has always remained true to the DIY spirit — perfectly documented on albums like his classic self-title debut (1978), The Donovan of Trash (1993), and his latest, Transience (2019).
