Paperface Zine Presents: Screensaver / Susans / Chores

Naarm/Melbourne's post-punks Screensaver will play a show in Rochester following their performance at this year's Gonerfest.

Synth-driven post-punks Screensaver have come all the way from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia for a show at the Bug Jar on Wednesday, September 28th. Following their performance at Gonerfest, they will embark on their first North American tour.

Comprised of members from Spray Paint, EXEK, and Bad Vision, Screensaver's moody post-punk atmosphere is powered by cosmic synth noise overlaid with motorik drum beats, off-kilter guitar riffs and frontwoman Krystal Maynard's commanding vocal melodies. Both their debut LP Expressions of Interest and most recent 7" "Clean Current / Repeats" are out now through London's Upset the Rhythm.

They'll be joined by Susans, who play nervy weirdo/egg punk out of London, Ontario and local newcomers Chores, who play a fuzzy slab of garage twee-soaked post-punk.
